With regard to the liquid photopolymer plate, the capping method is based on the application of two layers of the photopolymer in one same plate. Once the first unspoilt polymer layer has been applied, another liquid photopolymer is spread, the latter being made out of recovered resin.
When a photopolymer plate with unspoilt resin on the surface has been obtained, the performance of our photopolymer plates are more stable throughout the print run and a better ink supply is achieved while printing. Also, the photopolymer plate’s resistance is greater and the surface is more uniform.
